Agnes Etherington Art Centre Edward Burtynsky Exhibition
The work of Edward Burtynsky is quite overwhelming when viewed in person. The photos are massive prints and the detail of those images keep the viewer's eyes busy at all times. The design needed to be typographic in nature, somewhat refrained and impactful at the same time.
Using simple alignment I was able to break the sheet into section which could then be used to fold the poster down for mailing purposes. The poster was also able to wrap the invitation and create an interesting folded product.
Colour was drawn from the focus of the chosen artwork and screening was used to present the artwork alongside the text without interference.
